Shania is a fourth-year placement student completing her Bachelor of Social Work at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly known as Ryerson University). Shania completed her third-year placement with York Housing and Support Services, primarily working with women experiencing homelessness. She has a keen interest in mental health and mental well-being. Shania hopes to gain confidence in her knowledge and skills in counselling and therapy throughout her placement. In her free time, Shania enjoys board/card games, visiting escape rooms and amusement parks, going on road trips, and spending time with family and friends.
