
Catherine Joudry (Master of Social Work Candidate)

Ms. Catherine Joudry holds a Bachelor of Social Work from St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and is currently completing her Master of Social Work through the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto, specializing in social work with children and their families.
Before returning to graduate school at the University of Toronto, Ms. Joudry was previously a Registered Social Worker in the province of New Brunswick, working in Child Welfare, where she worked with children of all ages and their families struggling with neglect, various forms of abuse, trauma, intimate partner violence, substance misuse, and mental health concerns.
Prior to this, Ms. Joudry worked in Early Childhood Education working with children ages infancy to 12 years old. Ms. Joudry worked in various centers, including a developmental center where she had the opportunity to work with children with various development needs, including autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, and much more.
Ms. Joudry has previously attended as well as spoken at various events raising awareness of intimate partner violence and has made this a focus of her education, along with her focus of work with children and youth.
In her spare time Ms. Joudry enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, skating, skiing, doing puzzles, and being outdoors.
