Lisa Smith M.A. (Counselling Psychology)
Lisa completed her Bachelor's degree (Honours) in Psychology from The University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario and later on completed her Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology from Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia. She is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
Lisa began her career as a private school educator working with learning-disabled children in Thornhill, Ontario where her heart opened to the academic struggles that some students endure. She then decided to pursue her counselling degree in order to offer emotional and psychological support to hurting children and their families. She has treated children with various struggles at Child and Youth Mental Health at the Ministry of Child and Family Development as a mental health clinician in Mission, British Columbia and at a private counselling practice in Langley, British Columbia. She also worked with the vulnerable geriatric population at Abbotsford Mental Health and Addictions in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
