Shahin Seisan PsyD (Candidate)
Shahin Seisan is a Psychology Doctoral Resident completing his full-time psychology residency year at Dr. Fountain and Associates. Shahin is completing his doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at Adler University Vancouver Campus. He has over five years of experience in the mental health field, working with diverse populations (including immigrants, vulnerable individuals, and LGBTQ2+) in different age ranges. He enjoys working with children, youth, adults, and couples. At the practice, Shahin provides intervention and assessment services under the supervision of a member of the psychology team.
Shahin works with clients experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder, emotion regulation, and relationships. His passion is to support his clients by getting in touch with their inner wisdom and restoring their connection with themselves. He provides a non-judgmental and safe place for his clients to reflect, feel their emotions, and share their stories and challenges. Shahin is trained in dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and Gottman Couple’s Therapy.
Shahin loves animals and being in nature. During his free time, he likes to go to the gym, practice mindfulness, listen to audiobooks, and watch nature videos.
