Sarah Grassl
B.A., M.Ed. Counselling Psychology Student
Sarah believes that every young person has the strength andresilience to grow when they are given a safe space to be heard, supported, and understood. She strives to make therapy a space where clients are heard and valued, and where healing and change can be worked on together.
Sarah is a Psychotherapy Graduate Student completing her Master of Education in Counselling Psychology at the University of Ottawa.
In her practice, Sarah integrates a warm, person centered approach grounded in Cognitive
behavioural therapy (CBT). She values creating a safe and supportive environment where youth, teens,
young adults, and families can feel heard and understood, while working together toward growth
and healing.
Sarah has gained experience in a range of therapeutic and community settings, working with children, youth, young adults, and families. She has supported clients navigating stress, big emotions, and life transitions, as well as those experiencing challenges related to anxiety, low mood, attention and focus, and neurodiversity. Her background includes supporting young children in behavioural therapeutic settings, working with adolescents in diversion programs, and facilitating group therapy for adults. These experiences have strengthened her ability to connect
with clients of all ages and tailor her approach to meet their unique needs.

Outside of her professional work, Sarah enjoys staying active through pilates and yoga classes. She also loves reading, being outdoors, playing games with friends, exploring her creativity through art and writing, being around animals, and spending time with family and friends.
